A.D. Kaprin is Dr. Sci. (Med.), professor, corresponding member of the RAS, corresponding member of the RAE, honored doctor of Russian Federation, head of department of Urology with the course of oncourology of Advanced Training Faculty in Peoples Friendship University of Russia, main urologist of RAS, member of European Association of Radiology.

Professor Kaprin A.D. develops state-of-art laser, surgical and combined methods of treatment for renal, bladder, prostate cancer and other malignancies throughout its research and medical activities.

Nowadays professor Kaprin A.D. is the supervisor of works on development, pre-clinical study and implementation in medical practice of novel promising bacteriochlorine-based photosensitizer.
