Loschenov V.B., Dr. Sci. (Phys. and Math.), professor, chief of laboratory of laser biospectroscopy in the Natural Sciences Center of General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences.

Professor Loschenov V.B. works in the field of development of new methods and devices for medical diagnosis, greatly facilitating advancement of new physical technologies into medical practice. Except development in oncology, the laboratory headed by him deals with diagnosis and treatment of atherosclerosis, benign skin diseases, set of ophthalmic diseases. Recently the use of nanotechnologies in medicine for precision phototherapy is a main priority, which will extend the fields of application in dentistry, treatment of arthritis and inflammatory diseases resistant to antibiotics.

Loschenov V.B. is also the director general of CSJC «Biospec» from its foundation in 1993 merged into laboratory of laser biospectroscopy in the Natural Sciences Center of General Physics Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The company is the most prominent and successful enterprise on the Russian market of equipment for FD and PDT of different cancer and other diseases. Manufactured devices are successfully explored in more than 50 leading science centers and clinics.
